We want everyone to feel welcome at our events. We are committed to providing clear information about the accessibility of our venues and events and to support Disabled people and those with access requirements to enjoy their time at the festival.
This guide is designed to inform everybody who comes to a FilmBath event what we can offer customers who may have particular requirements.

Accessible Screenings
A number of screenings at the festival are offered with access provisions, these are described below:
Descriptive Subtitles (DS)
Some film screenings will be shown with descriptive subtitles, these are marked in the programme.

These are foreign language films that will have speech captioned in english, but no descriptive audio captions.

Audio Descriptions (AD)
We have audio descriptions available for some of our film programme. Headsets can be collected from the venue when you go into a screening. Film screenings with audio description are marked in the programme.

Relaxed Screenings (RS)
We have relaxed screenings available for some of our films, these are marked in the programme. During the relaxed screenings the lights are dimmed not off, the volume levels are a little lower than usual and you are free to move around the screen and enter and exit at any time.

Watch with Baby (WB)
These are relaxed screening designed to welcome parents and carers with babies. The lights will remain gently raised and the sound will be lower than usual, so you can feed, soothe or move around with your baby as needed. There’s no need to worry about crying, noise or needing to step out during the film. You’re also very welcome to attend without a baby. We simply ask that all audience members are understanding and respectful of the relaxed nature of the screening and of parents, carers and babies in the audience.
