What could be better than coffee and excellent cake followed by top class music-making?

Blind since birth, Ethan Loch is a pianistic phenomenon.  A Grand Finalist of BBC Young Musician of the Year at the age of eighteen, he is now developing a major career including concerto performances with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and winning a prize at the Verbier Festival. His programme includes Liszt’s massive B minor Sonata , one of the virtuoso peaks of the solo piano repertoire, as well gorgeous music by Debussy and some of his own improvisations.

Gluck-Sgambati : Melody from Orfeo ed Euridice
Ethan Loch: The Looking Glass
Liszt: Sonata in B minor
Debussy: Les Fées sont d’exquises danseuses
Ethan Loch: Tonal Vision No. 6 in C♯ major
Chopin: Scherzo No. 3 in C♯ major, Op. 39

We are delighted to be joining forces with the St Andrew's School for the Coffee and Cake concerts.  This is the local school to St Swithin's Church.
The PTA will be providing a delicious variety of cakes and sweet treats for these concerts and in return the Bath Festival will be making a donation to the school for much needed music instruments. We are thrilled to be a part of this community partnership.
