BFM14 Coffee Concert III - Irene Duval - Violin

A fantastic programme of virtuoso violin music performed by one of the most exciting young violinists around. Bach’s  famous ‘chaconne’ is one of the peaks of the violin repertoire with huge technical challenges.  Tartini’s ‘Devil’s Trill’ sonata was inspired by the composer’s dream of a pact with the Devil involving the demon playing brilliantly. Elsewhere the programme includes music by some of the finest violinists of all time in Ysaÿe and Enescu.

We are delighted to be joining forces with the St Andrew's School for the Coffee and Cake concerts.  This is the local school to St Swithin's Church. 
The PTA will be providing a delicious variety of cakes and sweet treats for these concerts and in return the Bath Festival will be making a donation to the school for much needed music instruments. We are thrilled to be a part of this community partnership.
