HOME OF THE BATH FILM FESTIVAL
Bath Film Festival returns from 16 to 25 October 2026 for its 36th edition, bringing ten days of extraordinary cinema, special events and unforgettable film experiences to venues across the city.
This year’s programme brings together hotly anticipated new releases, award-winning films, UK premieres and hidden gems from around the world, alongside filmmaker Q&As, live performances, discussions and one-off events in some of Bath’s most distinctive spaces.
Across the programme, stories of love, identity, family, resilience, belonging and change explore what it means to be human in a changing world. Continuing FilmBath’s commitment to championing female and non-binary filmmakers, more than 50% of this year’s programme is F-Rated.
Whether you’re looking for one of the year’s most talked-about films before its general release, something you might never otherwise discover, or a film experience that goes far beyond the screen, there’s plenty to explore at Bath Film Festival 2026.
