Join us during the Jane Austen Festival to discover the hidden layers of Regency fashion.

Using sample Regency stays and a chemise, corsetry expert Ellie Scotton will explore how these garments were made, worn and embellished. You will try historical sewing techniques including cording, flossing and hand-sewn eyelets.

This activity is suitable for all ages and abilities.

There are a few steps up from the street to the workshop space which is on the raised ground floor of a Georgian townhouse.

The venue is not wheelchair accessible.
