About The Phoenix Comic
The Phoenix is a weekly magazine for 7–14 year olds that’s packed with incredible comics, drawing guides, and plenty more that inspires kids to get reading, writing, and drawing!

About the Creators
Neill Cameron is a comics creator and writer whose work features regularly in the much-loved comic The Phoenix. As well as the bestselling Donut Squad series, Neill is also the creator of the award-winning Mega Robo Bros series and How to Make Awesome Comics. He is also the author/illustrator of the popular middle-grade Freddy series. When Neill isn't drawing and writing, he is often out and about at festivals, bookshops and running comic workshops - events which are hugely popular with all his many fans.

Jess Bradley is an illustrator and writer living in Torquay, Devon. She works from her home studio and likes drawing in her sketchbooks, reading, playing video games and watching cartoons with her son. In 2021 she won a Blue Peter Book Award for her work on A Day in the Life of a Poo, a Gnu and You. She is a regular contributor to The Phoenix Comic.

Laura Ellen Anderson is the bestselling author/illustrator of the hugely popular Amelia Fang and Rainbow Grey illustrated fiction series. She spends every waking hour creating & drawing and would quite like to live on the Moon when humans finally make it possible.

Thiago de Moraes spends most of his time in a tiny shed at the bottom of his garden, writing and illustrating books, comics and bits of old cardboard boxes. He enjoys telling all sorts of stories, from picture books to non-fiction. His highly illustrated Myth Atlas, a guide to myths and legends, has been translated into 18 languages. Thiago has won the Sheffield Children's Book Award, been longlisted for the Klaus Flugge Prize and twice nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal. Thiago is 90% beard, dangerously fond of bacon and lives in England with his wife, children and a pet tortoise called Nibbles.
