Channing Tatum plays Dad to 8 year old Josephine in this psychological thriller from director Beth de Araújo, set in San Francisco. One morning Dad and Josephine are at Golden Gate Park to spend some quality time together. Whilst there Josephine witnesses a shocking sexual assault on a woman by a stranger. Having not understood what the brutal thing she witnessed actually was, she starts to act out emotionally and violently. Gemma Chan plays Mum to Josephine, and the family are launched into unfamiliar territory as Josephine acts out in ever increasing concerning ways as she tries to find a way to address the post traumatic trauma she is experiencing. This all leads to more conflict between her parents as to how to handle the situation, which causes further trauma for Josephine.

Outstanding performances from all involved make this an absolutely brilliant drama and thriller, focusing on the effects of childhood trauma.

A remarkable feature… Tatum is simply astonishing.
