In 1994, a complex series of tunnels were discovered underground during routine excavation work at site Alpha-Vixen One. Deep within these tunnels the discovery of a lifetime was made, one that would alter the very course of humanity: an alien entity of unknown origin. ‘Project Leo’ was immediately green-lit by Omega Industries, a subdivision of the New World Order, and rigorous testing soon began.
Thirty years later, Omega Industries had created a terrifying new weapon, forged from the DNA of this creature; an unstoppable killing machine called Meca Leo, that not even they could control… When Meca Leo escaped, the research facility was immediately shut down and the ultimate failsafe was triggered; toxic gas was released into the atmosphere, and everything inside was left for dead.
The facility hasn’t been opened since, long forgotten to time. But three days ago, a distress beacon was triggered from deep inside… A task force has now been assembled and you are on the team: the mission is simple, reopen the abandoned facility and find the source.
The Core
After the fall of the UK government and years of national civil unrest, the New World Order has risen, and the Republic of England stands victorious. But a rebel alliance has formed, and an abandoned sewage plant is their base of operations. Hiding on the edge of society, they search for recruits to join the cause and reclaim all that was lost, to fight back against the New World Order.
But unbeknownst to them, a far greater danger hides among them; toxic waste, dumped into the water from the nearby Omega Industries Research Facility, has contaminated the plant, transforming all those who come into contact with it… Including the Rebels, who now call it home. Before the fight above ground can begin, the one below must be won.
VITA NOVA
Day 5,987 since the New World Order began. Omega Industries has initiated its quality of life programme, V I T A N O V A, restoring order to the Republic of England. Society will be reformed, it will be born anew! Extracted from the DNA of Specimen 004, the revolutionary V I T A N O V A treatment programme will erase the patient’s memories, leaving them in a state of euphoria. A state of compliance.
The New World Order demands that the V I T A N O V A programme be adhered to by all citizens, yet it seems that some have defied these orders and stopped conforming. They have stopped taking their V I T A N O V A. All non-conformers will now be detected, and they will be ameliorated. They will comply with the New World.
