The Clare Teal Weekend
3 - 5 July 2026 at the American Museum & Gardens
A musical journey across America hosted by renowned singer Clare Teal
This July, on the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we will have a special weekend of live music celebrating the rich and far-reaching elements of The Great American Songbook through the birth of jazz and blues, to rock ‘n’ roll, Broadway and beyond.
Hosted by award-winning jazz singer and broadcaster Clare Teal, this three-night event explores the evolution of jazz and popular music, genres rooted in America but shaped by global influences from Africa, Europe and beyond. Each evening offers a distinct musical focus, taking audiences on a journey through some of the most influential sounds of the past century.
Whether you join us for one evening or all three, this promises to be a memorable celebration of music, history and culture.
